    • Water – 200ml
    • Ginger – 10gms
    • Lemon – Half Of A Lemon
    • Salt – Little Pinch
    • Honey – To Taste

(Online Conversion utility to convert Gms to Cups & Temperatures etc)

Place a strainer in a bowl and squeeze lemon in the strainer to remove seeds and get clear lemon juice. With half a lemon here we got 3/4tsp of lemon juice.

Using a fine holed grater grate ginger. Collect the grated ginger between fingers and squeeze juice in the strainer to get clear ginger juice. With 10gms of ginger we got 1tsp of ginger juice. The residual left after removing ginger juice still contains some more ginger juice---so do not throw it away---keep it in fridge and next day boil with tea to get ginger flavored tea.

Add ginger juice to lemon juice and add salt. Mix well to dissolve salt in the juice mixture. For sweeter version add honey instead of salt and mix.

Take 200ml water in a microwave safe jug (or any other bowl) and place it in microwave oven. Heat the water on high power for 30 seconds to warm it. To the warm water add the juice mixture and mix well with a spoon. Herbal ginger tea is ready---pour it in a cup and serve immediately.

    Points To Remember:

To get an idea as to how it tastes, I have shown it with the measurements---however they may be adjusted according to one’s taste and requirements.

Ginger is strong and pungent. Addition of salt balances the strong flavor of ginger and tastes good. But remember to add just a little pinch of salt.

As we all know, lemon provides the required Vitamin C when one is suffering from cold and throat infections. Ginger juice helps in relieving the pain caused due to throat infections. Salt balances the strong flavor of ginger and soothes the infected throat. Due to addition of salt the drink tastes very good. For sweeter version add honey instead of salt and enjoy. As we all know, the combination of honey and lemon in warm water helps in relieving sore throat problems instantly.

This drink tastes good as a healthy starter also. So drink daily in the morning to cleanse the system.

With natural goodness around us, try to grab them and enjoy good health.

    Enjoy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
