Wash watermelon and cut into wedges. Remove the seeds of watermelon wedges and chop them into pieces. Place the watermelon pieces in a shallow bowl and freeze.

Wash strawberries and remove the green leaves and freeze them.

Peel banana and cut it into slices and freeze.

Remove ice cream from freezer to soften slightly.

Take a blender and add watermelon pieces, strawberry pieces, banana slices, curd and blend till smooth. Check for sweetness and if required add powdered sugar and blend. Finally add vanilla ice cream and blend till smooth. Pour into tall glasses and serve immediately.

    Points To Observe:

As watermelon contains lot of water do not add ice to chill the smoothie---instead freeze the watermelon pieces and use. Similarly chill strawberry pieces and banana slices also.

Banana adds body to the smoothie. Strawberries provide nice pink color along with a mild flavor. Vanilla ice cream gives smoothness and rich taste to the smoothie. For variation, use strawberry ice cream.

Watermelon strawberry smoothie is a nice filling drink on a hot summer afternoon which is enjoyed by all age groups.
