Ingredients:

  • Lemon – 1

  • Salt – 1/4tsp

  • Sugar Powder – 1Tbsp

  • Water – 800ml + 1/2Tbsp

(Online Conversion utility to convert Gms to Cups & Temperatures etc)

Method:

Take out juice of one lemon into a bowl. Add salt, sugar powder and 1/2Tbsp water to the lemon juice and mix well till sugar dissolves completely. We would get 5tsps of lemon mixture. Divide this mixture into two tall glasses. Fill each glass with 200ml plain water and 200ml chilled water. Serve immediately garnished with a slice of lemon.

Points To Observe:

In peak summer season we sweat a lot. With sweat we also lose some salts in our body. Drink a glass of lemonade and it immediately replenishes the salt and also quenches thirst.

Here I have added a mixture of plain water and chilled water so that it is not too chilled and at the same time it would be cold. As per preference one can add fully chilled water or just plain water.

Sugar powdered will instantly dissolve. Thus put sugar in a mixie and grind it finely. Take one Table Spoon of this sugar Powder. If you directly add one Table spoon of Sugar, it may become too sweet.
