Ingredients:
- Potatoes – 500gms
- Bread Slices – 10 (big)
- Red Chilies – 3
- Cumin Seeds – 4tbsps
- Salt To taste
- Tomato Sauce To Taste
- Chopped Coriander – 1 Tbsp
Preparations:
Wash
and clean the potatoes. Cook the potatoes in pressure cooker. Peel the
potatoes, mash them and keep aside. Take 4tbsps of cumin seeds in a
paper plate
and microwave on high power for 30 seconds. Add broken red chilies to
the cumin
seeds and microwave on high power for 10 seconds. Powder them in a mixie
and
store. Take mashed potatoes in a plate and add one and half table spoons
of
roasted cumin-chili powder, 1 tbsp of chopped coriander leaves and salt
to
taste. Mix well and keep it aside.
Method:
Remove
the crusts for all the bread slices. Switch on the sandwich toaster. Now
take a
bread slice and spread the potato mixture on it. Cover with another
bread slice
and keep it aside. Similarly make 4 more sandwiches. Add little ghee to
the
slots in the toaster. Place the prepared sandwiches in the slots. Add
some ghee
on top of the bread slices in the toaster. Cover it and toast. Wait till
the
light changes color to green from red. Then remove it from the toaster.
Similarly toast all the sandwiches. Serve hot with tomato sauce.
This
is an easy to make dish with tasty stuffing. The flavor of roasted cumin
seeds
and chopped coriander leaves makes this simple preparation a tasty one.

have bread toaster. Is bread toaster and sandwich toaster the same? i

I think you are having pop-up single bread
toaster which is different from sandwich toaster and the former may not
be useful for making sandwich toasts. Similarly using red-chilli powder
may not bring the fresh flavour of grinding the freshly rosted cumin
