This is a Text Recipe, not a Video.  Due to commitments on home front and paucity of time it is becoming difficult to make videos of all known recipes.  If I have to make a video only before I’m to share these recipes, it is likely to take considerable time. Meanwhile there is also an urge to share these recipes for the benefit of my viewers. These recipes are prepared, perfected and tasted at home. Hence they too carry the same commitment and conviction as in videos, while I share them with you. As and when these text recipes are converted into videos, the above photograph would be replaced with its video. Enjoy!!!




Recipe Text


    Ingredients:

    • Mixed Vegetables – 1Cup (heaped) – 150gms
    • (Use cauliflower, potatoes, carrots, beans)
    • Capsicum – 1(60gms)
    • Green Peas – 1Tbsp
    • Sweet Corn – 1Tbsp
    • Paneer – 75gms (grate about 10 gms for garnishing and keep it aside)
    • No Onion No Garlic Gravy (Click Here) – 1Cup (250gms)
    • Cumin Seeds – 1/4tsp
    • Bay Leaves – 2
    • Red Chilies – 2
    • Cinnamon – 1” Piece
    • Cloves – 2
    • Cardamom – 1
    • Turmeric Powder – 1/4tsp
    • Red Chili Powder – 1 1/2tsps
    • Cream – 2Tbps
    • Milk – 2Tbsps
    • Salt – To Taste (3/4tsp)
    • Water – 20ml
    • Oil – 1Tbsp
    • Butter – 15gms
    • Chopped Coriander Leaves – For Garnishing

    (Online Conversion utility to convert Gms to Cups & Temperatures etc)

    Preparations:


    Take mixed vegetable pieces into a microwave safe bowl and add 20ml water. Place this bowl in microwave oven and cover it partially. Cook the vegetables on high power for 5 minutes. Stir the vegetables and again cook on high power for 3 minutes.

    Cut capsicum into cubes.

    Cut 50gms paneer into cubes and grate 25gms paneer.

    Heat a pan and add oil and butter. Add cumin seeds, bay leaves, red chilies, cinnamon, cloves and cardamom and fry. Then add capsicum pieces and fry for a minute. Then add cooked vegetables, paneer cubes, milk, cream, salt, turmeric powder and red chili powder. Mix all and cook well. Add No Onion No Garlic Gravy (Click Here) and cook. Add grated paneer, for garnishing. Remove bay leaves and red chilies and transfer the prepared curry to a serving bowl. Garnish the curry with grated paneer, Red Chillies and chopped coriander leaves.

    Gravy used in this dish already has some salt---so add carefully.

    Points To Remember:

    Do not overcook the vegetables. Similarly no need to cook the capsicum till fully cooked—it tastes better when some crunch is retained.

    The mixture basically cooks in butter, oil and cream---so it would be tasty!!!

    Unless and until told no one can identify that onion and garlic are absent in this dish---it tastes better than the dish prepared with onion and garlic.
