I was born and brought-up in Chikkadpally, Hyderabad. I did my schooling in Peoples Primary School, Madpati Girl's High School, Nampally Women's College and Reddy Women's College. I did my Bachelors in Scienece in 1987 and was married the same year.
My husband works for NABARD. Thanks to his job we had an opportunity to move around the country. We stayed at Mumbai, Bhubaneswar, Bhopal. Presently we are at Vizianagaram.
I work for State Bank of India (???). State Bank of India is yet to transfer me from Bhopal to Vizianagaram. As the transfer process is taking its own time, I preferred to join my family 2 years ago leaving behind my work-place. I am fighting against discrimination and for my Fundamental Rights with the mighty SBI, heirarchy. Thus the "???" when I say I work with SBI. I am utilising the spare time to develop www.gayatrivantillu.com
I like classical Carnatic music, book reading and net-surfing.
I have one child, who is presently at IIT, Kharagpur pursuing Engineering.
I have been benefitted a lot by Internet and thus the urge to pay-back
to the community made me think of developing this site. I thank various persons who inspired me directly and indirectly to keep myself busy and host this site.
